Housing in Crisis

The pandemic has put 15 million Americans at risk of eviction due to widespread job loss and severe illness. But the United States was already in the throes of a housing crisis before  COVID-19 began ravaging the world. The risk of eviction has devastating financial and health consequences for low-income communities of color and exacerbates the inequities that already existed in this country.
